Space situational awareness training events
On 3 and 4 June 2024, the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) hosted two space situational awareness (SSA) training events. Linked with needs expressed for implementation of the Guidelines for the Long-term Sustainability of Outer Space Activities (LTS Guidelines), these events shared information on the use of free, publicly available space situational awareness tools.
The training events were aimed at the user/working-level and were interactive, with presenters encouraging questions and sharing answers on the practical use of the tools.
